As a highly motivated and confident Command Security Services LP member, you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting client employees, visitors, and various facilities. You’ll provide excellent customer service, respond to incidents, call for service, conduct regular security patrols, and document activity while helping to promote a creative work environment at the Client site/s.
Responsibilities:
- Complete and deliver timely and accurate reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Conduct effective security patrols.
- Execute and enforce client-specific tasks.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Observe, report, and prevent incidents by providing a physical presence.
- Provide support in the event of an emergency or alarm.
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
- Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
- Respond quickly to critical situations.
- Ability to read and write detailed reports.
- Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance.
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting unusual activity or circumstances.
- Inspects buildings and access points.
- Respond to crowd and traffic control duties during emergency conditions as directed by the supervisor or management.
- Ability to adhere to all Client policies, rules, regulations, and local and federal laws.
- Supports investigations, conducts surveillance, and gathering of facts.
- Maintain the organization’s stability and brand reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Reporting persons suspected of committing illegal or unauthorized acts.
- Prohibiting unauthorized personnel and vehicular access to the property.
- Immediately report any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions that could cause fires, explosions, collapses, and other hazards.
- Responsible for properly caring for all company and client-provided equipment, such as Cyber Keys, Radios, I.D Badges, and Vehicle upkeep.
- Submits new and innovative ideas to enhance job functions and company best practices.
- Assists business groups as needed.
- Ability to help train new security officer(s) as needed.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned.
- Ability to evaluate and de-escalate conflicts/arguments.
- Ability to work either alone, unsupervised, or with a team.

Client requirements

License/Certification Requirements
- Valid CA BSIS Guard Card Certification.
- Valid US State-issued Driver’s License.
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or obtaining it after employment.
- Completing a background investigation, criminal records, driver record checks, and client provisioning.
- Client requirements; individuals must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and provide verifiable proof of their vaccination status or have a client-approved accommodation or state law exemption.
- As a condition of continued employment, the employee must maintain the current active status of all required Licenses at all times and carry the license(s) at all times while on duty.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
- Ability to pass and adhere to the company vehicle driver and safety policy.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, indoors and outdoors, under various environmental conditions.
- Must possess effective written, customer service, and oral communication skills in English.
- Effectual interpersonal skills across all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner.

CSS’ maintains a primary office location at Moffett Federal Airfield (M.F.A.) in Mountain View, CA. The Federal Government has primary Law Enforcement authority at this location. Federal Law and Rules apply to both on-duty and off-duty conduct within the MFA / NASA Ames Research Center Property boundaries. CSS personnel may undergo Federal Background Checks in conjunction with their assigned role. Failure to successfully meet these requirements may result in termination.
Compensation and Benefits:

Supplemental Pay:

Job Offer Contingency:
